GRSLBG&B is proud to announce, Russ M. Patane has been named Shareholder In-Charge of the Firm’s New York Office. With this new role, Russ will oversee the Firm’s expanding New York practice, which handles all facets of insurance defense litigation, including Construction/New York Labor Law, Sustainable Construction, Insurance Coverage, Labor and Employment, Liquor Liability, Auto, Trucking, and Premises Liability. Russ will also be responsible for implementing the Firm’s strategic direction in the State, managing the day-to-day operations of the New York Office, and leading our team of exceptional New York-based attorneys.
Russ first joined GRSLBG&B in 2009 as an Associate. Through his hard work and dedication, Russ was elevated to Shareholder status in 2015. During this time, Russ took on numerous management roles while simultaneously demonstrating exceptional legal expertise, leadership, and loyalty to both the Firm and its clients. Russ has been instrumental in attaining numerous favorable results in a myriad of complex cases, thereby cementing his reputation as both an aggressive advocate and trusted advisor. Never one to shy away from the spotlight, Russ is regularly invited to speak on various insurance and construction-related topics by both local and national professional trade organizations. He is an accredited LEED Green Associate, a Certified Litigation Management Professional, and he is an active member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, the New Jersey Chapter of the US Green Building Council, and the Defense Research Institute.

Russ is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the Southern District of New York. Russ is a proud 1996 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, but is perhaps prouder of his daughter, who will soon be attending PSU, Class of 2027. Russ attained his law degree in 2006 from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
