Alexis M. Carrelli has rejoined the Firm’s Litigation Department as an Associate. Ms. Carrelli originally joined the Firm in September 2018 where she worked through November 2020. Upon her return, Ms. Carrelli joins the Firm’s General Liability, Products Liability, Construction, Premises Liability, and Automobile and Motor Carrier Liability departments where she will represent insurance companies and self-insured companies in the defense of these claims.
Throughout her career, Ms. Carrelli had defended individuals, businesses, and public entities in matters involving automobile collisions, premises liability, construction defects, and transactional law. Ms. Carrelli has also represented public entities in tort claims, civil rights, and employment matters.
Ms. Carrelli graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Political Science in 2013. She received her law degree from Drexel University: Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2017. Ms. Carrelli served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Honora O’Brien Kilgallen in the New Jersey Superior Court, Monmouth Vicinage, criminal division from 2017 to 2018.
Ms. Carrelli was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 2017 and the District Court of New Jersey in 2021.

Loudie V. Srebnick is an Associate of GRSLBG&B and concentrates her practice in General Liability. She represents insurance companies and self-insured companies in the defense of these claims.
Ms. Srebnick joined GRSLBG&B in February 2020. She graduated magna cum laude from Barry University in 2007 with dual degrees in Political Science and Criminology. Ms. Srebnick received her Juris Doctor degree in 2012 from New York Law School where she participated in a Conflict Resolution study abroad program at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. While in law, school Ms. Srebnick served as an extern for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Contract Services and an intern for the South Brooklyn Legal Services. From 2010 to 2012, Ms. Srebnick clerked at a firm handling transactional matters throughout the state of New York.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Ms. Srebnick worked as an associate for a Manhattan based personal injury firm and as in-house counsel for a New Jersey based corporation.
Ms. Srebnick is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Rosanne Palumbo

Rosanne Palumbo is an Associate of GRSLBG&B and concentrates her practice in General Liability, Construction, Labor & Employment and Asbestos/Toxic Tort. She represents insured corporate entities, insurance companies and self-insured companies in the defense of these claims.
Ms. Palumbo joined GRSLBG&B in May 2020. She graduated from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, Cook College in 1995, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology. She obtained her law degree and Environmental Law Certification from Pace University School of Law in New York in 2000. While in law school, Ms. Palumbo worked with Pace’s Environmental Law Society and was an annual hostess at Pace’s Animals in the Law Conference, where she advocated for animal rights and environmental protections.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Ms. Palumbo served as in house counsel for insurance carriers in New York and New Jersey and as General Counsel for a finance company for 12 years, where Ms. Palumbo represented her corporate client in all phases of litigation and arbitration. She volunteers her time rehabilitating abused American Pit Bull Terriers and is volunteer counsel for Jersey Pits Rescue, a non-profit organization.
Ms. Palumbo was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001 and the New Jersey State Bar in 2007, as well as the United States District Court, District of New Jersey and Eastern District of New York.

Minal J. Acharya

Minal J. Acharya is an Associate of GRSLBG&B and concentrates her practice in the area of General Liability. She represents insurance companies and self-insured companies in the defense of these claims.
Ms. Acharya joined the Firm in November 2020. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2009 with B.A. in Political Science and Public Policy. She continued her education at Florida Coastal School of Law, obtaining her law degree in 2013. While attending law school, Ms. Acharya was a legal intern with the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, the Florida Department of Children and Families, and the Public Defender’s office in Duval County.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Ms. Acharya practiced in the area of both criminal and civil litigation. Recently, as an associate, Ms. Acharya focused her practice on automobile liability, representing the interest of individuals, businesses, and insurance companies in all phases of litigation, including trials. Ms. Acharya is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Florida and is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association.

Patrick J. Nemes

Patrick J. Nemes is an Associate of GRSLBG&B and concentrates his practice in Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Nemes represents insurance companies and self-insured companies in the defense of these claims.
Mr. Nemes graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.A. in History in 2010 and received his law degree from Roger Williams School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Mr. Nemes was the Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, Third-Year Student Representative of the Student Bar Association, and Member of the Student Honor Board.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Mr. Nemes worked as an associate defending employers and their carriers against workers’ compensation claims throughout New Jersey. Mr. Nemes also managed medical provider claims for hospitals and physicians through arbitration, trial, and the Independent Health Care Appeals Program.

Edward W. Chen

Edward W. Chen is an Associate in GRSLBG&B and concentrates his practice is General Liability. He represents insurance companies and self-insured companies in defense of these claims throughout New York and New Jersey, and is practiced in all facets of litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
Mr. Chen joined GRSLBG&B in April 2021. He graduated from the University at Albany, State University of New York in 1998 and received his law degree from the University of Buffalo in 2001. While in law school, he interned at the Office of the Attorney General in Albany and the Queens District Attorney’s Office in New York.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Mr. Chen began his career at a house counsel firm to a national insurance carrier defending individuals and businesses in bodily injury actions in New York City and Long Island. He has continued defending insurance carriers throughout New York and New Jersey. Mr. Chen’s work includes precedent setting case law, under Mangra v. China Airlines, Ltd., 790 N.Y.S.2d 370, where the insured escaped vicarious liability through creative exclusion of forklifts under the definition of “motor vehicle.”
Mr. Chen is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.

Lauren M. Solari

Lauren M. Solari joined the Firm’s Litigation Department as an Associate in our New York Office. Ms. Solari concentrates her practice in General Liability. She defends claims and lawsuits against her clients, both self-insured and through their insurance companies.
Ms. Solari graduated from Fairfield University with her B.A. in 2010 and is a 2013 graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the National Moot Court Team and was a finalist in the Dean Dunmore Moot Court Competition. Ms. Solari is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Ms. Solari worked at Manhattan firm, defending clients in various general liability matters throughout New York City, with an emphasis on claims involving New York Labor Law, elevator liability, premises liability, and motor vehicle claims. Through her aggressive, skillful, and efficient approach to defending clients, Ms. Solari has a proven track record of effecting favorable results for her clients regardless of the claim. Ms. Solari has successfully argued numerous cases before New York’s Appellate Division, First and Second Departments. Ms. Solari was named as a “Rising Star” by the New York edition of Super Lawyers in 2021.

Amanpreet S. Dhaliwal

Amanpreet S. Dhaliwal joined the Firm’s Litigation Department as an Associate in our New York Office. Mr. Dhaliwal concentrates his practice in General Liability. He represents clients, both self-insured and through their insurance companies, in the defense of these claims throughout New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Dhaliwal graduated from Stony Brook University in 2014, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Dhaliwal received his J.D. from Hofstra University in 2018. While in law school, Mr. Dhaliwal was a member of the ADR team and the South Asian Law Students Association. Mr. Dhaliwal has also performed pro bono work with the Nassau County Legal Aid Society where he assisted with arraignments at the district court.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Mr. Dhaliwal worked for a large insurance defense firm where he focused his practice on automobile accidents, toxic torts, and general liability claims. He is currently admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Charles B. Costello

Charles B. Costello joined the Firm’s Litigation Department as an Associate in our New York Office. Mr. Costello concentrates his practice in General Liability and Construction. He represents insurance companies and self-insured companies in the defense of these claims.
Mr. Costello graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2013 and received his law degree from New York Law School in 2016. After law school, Mr. Costello was a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Robert C. Wilson, Bergen County, New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division, from 2016 to 2017. Mr. Costello aided Judge Wilson in managing his voluminous docket consisting of matters ranging from personal injury to complex business and complex construction litigation. Upon completion of his clerkship, Mr. Costello joined a large insurance defense firm as an associate, where he handled various general liability matters including automobile negligence, premises liability and liquor liability. Mr. Costello is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association and Hudson County Bar Association.

Angela L. Peña joins the Firm’s New York General Liability Practice Group. Ms. Peña graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn College in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy. She received her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Ms. Peña was the Cares Coordinator for the Latin American Law Students Association and the Director of Volunteers for the Public Interest Center, where she was responsible for organizing volunteer events that target community needs.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Ms. Peña served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted domestic violence cases from 2020 to 2022. Ms. Peña is admitted to practice in New York.

Delna R. Kermani joins the Firm’s New York General Liability Practice Group. Ms. Kermani graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Social Sciences and Political Science. She received her juris doctor and a Master of Laws degree from George Washington University in 2018. While in law school, Ms. Karmani participated in the George Washington Civil Liberties Union and authored her thesis on The Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Investment Arbitration Awards under the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes. Ms. Kermani also interned for the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center in the Landlord-Tenant department.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Ms. Kermani litigated complex mass tort and personal injury matters in New York State and Federal Courts. Ms. Kermani is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association, New York. She is admitted to practice in New York.

Yi Ming Zeng

Yi Ming Zeng joins the Firm’s New York Litigation Department as an Associate. Mr. Zeng concentrates his practice in General Liability.
Mr. Zeng received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the City College of New York in 2015 and his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Mr. Zeng was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient and a Staff Editor of the International & Comparative, Policy & Ethics Law Review. In 2020, the Journal published Yi’s student note, Are We In Good Hands? A Comparative Analysis of Compensation Schemes Concerning Catastrophes And Their Administrative Structure.
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Mr. Zeng worked at a general defense firm handling asbestos, toxic tort, and general liability issues. Mr. Zeng is admitted to practice in New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He is also fluent in Taishanese/Toishanese and Cantonese.

Marilyn Porcaro

Marilyn Porcaro joins the Firm’s New Jersey Litigation Department as an Associate. Marilyn concentrates her practice in General Liability.
Ms. Porcaro graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 2018 with a B.S. in Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Marketing. She then received her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in 2021. While in law school, Ms. Porcaro was the President of the Estates and Trusts Society and participated in various pro bono projects, including Wills for Heroes, the Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Project. She was the Lead Research and Writing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, and in 2021, the Journal published her student note, “Comparing New Jersey Establishment Clause Precedent with Supreme Court Precedent After the Holding in American Legion v. American Humanist Association.”
Prior to joining GRSLBG&B, Ms. Porcaro was a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Michael F. O’Neill, Hunterdon County, New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division. She also clerked for a small firm handling municipal matters, leases, wills, trusts and estates. Ms. Porcaro is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
